Four years after the events of Day 8, Jack Bauer remains a federal fugitive. Having heard rumors of an imminent attack against Heller, Bauer resurfaces in the city, where he is apprehended by the CIA and forcibly recruited into joining their investigation. As forces within the White House conspire against him, Bauer realizes that the complexity of the plot extends beyond a presidential assassination, and that the consequences of a successful attack will alter the course of history. With the help of a disgraced CIA agent and a hacker collective preaching free information, he must confront an unseen enemy whose personal vendetta threatens to push the world to the brink of war.
If the original series did not wear you down completely, you get another opportunity with Live Another Day, for it's pretty much an exact copy of all the previous years productions. Even with another gravely-voiced, half-whispering character (just like Jack Bauer). For those watching the show week to week maybe this is not bothersome, but when streaming episodes one after another, these voices become quite annoying real fast. A bright spot was the addition of Yvonne Strahovski, she's a welcome change, and breaks up the monotony of Bauer's character. It's really not a terribly bad show, it's just so 'been-done,' and it is now time to move on. Jack should really stop hogging the spy-drama/thriller air-waves.. and retire or disappear once-and-for-all.
All 24 is pure gold! 24 Live Another Day is a must watch, after the original series of course! It's amazing to see Jack Bauer, the greatest action hero ever, back to save the world and innocent lives. Old favorites are backwellan amazing villain with a fresh plot. You won't be disappointed in 24: Live Another Day!

Mostly, no. There were rumors that the real-time format of the series had been abandoned, in favor of a 12-hour format that would be a condensed version of a 24-hour day. However, the bulk of the series is still in real-time, with every 1-hour episode depicting an hour within the series. <br/><br/>It is only in the final episode, 10 minutes before the end, that there is a flash-forward of 12 hours. As a result, the series starts at 11:00 AM, and ends at 11:00 AM the next day. It still encompasses 24 hours, but skips one block of 12 hours within it.
